My wife took this picture of my dad several years ago – on Father’s Day. This is the same day a small raccoon we later named Fearless came to visit for 3 years. More on that another time.

On March 3rd, 2010, Dad’s life here on earth ended after a stroke followed about a month later by a massive heart attack. I’ve done a lot of remembering in the last year and I have to tell you – I miss my dad’s smile.

I watched my dad farm, sell seed corn, teach Sunday school, and closely observed the way he interacted with family, friends, and neighbors.  He was a good man – a man of integrity.

It’s my goal to serve my clients the way my dad lived.

Disappearing Deductible

An excellent example of this is what is called the disappearing deductible. What this means for my clients is this: over time, if you have no claims your deductible literally disappears. If you have a chargeable accident, the deductible reappears AFTER that claim is settled.

My parents raised 7 children – some a bit more rambunctious than others, as revealed in this picture. I enjoy spending time with these unique individuals I’m proud to call my siblings!
